Meetings and most of the activities take place in the Kilian House Family Centre on the grounds of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church just over the railway bridge.

Here you will find all the news,activities & things to do in Greystones every week and what's planned for the next few months.Greystones ARA actively encourages all people over 50 to join in, stay in contact and enjoy life in our beautiful town. You will find an activity for everyone and the facilities available to our members are excellent.Looking to the future,GARA hope to develop as an integerated part of the life for all elderly people in Greystones.With the benefits of the website we hope to be able to bring you up to date information online, with regular updates. We will also provide links to other areas of community interest and  matters of importance to association members as it arises. Greystones Active Retirement Association is open to all people, aged 50 years and over living in the Greystones, Co Wicklow area. GARA aims to offer opportunities for retired people to engage in a range of activities- including cultural pursuits, learning programmes, sporting activities and interesting outings and holidays,  both at home and abroad 

Printed newsletters  are also circulated to all members but we hope that the website will also be used to enhance and publicise our activities into the future. Our current membership stands at over 340 making it the largest Active Retirement Associations in Wicklow.
